A beautiful 7 feet tall murthi of #Narayana, one of the 24 forms of #Vishnu stands on a peeta (pedestal) of Mahaveera. The right hand at the back holds #Padma (lotus) while the left hand holds #Gada (mace). The right hand at the front holds #Shanka (counch) and the left hand at the front which should have held #Chakra has been mutilated. He is crowned with a Kirita mukuta and bedecked with various ornaments. There are miniature carvings of Vishnu's #Dashavatara (10 avataras) on the prabhavali.
#Sridevi and #Bhudevi are standing on both sides of Narayana.

The murthi is standing between the Sahasrakuta Jina Bimba and the Inscription stone inside the premises of the #Jinalaya

Udupi Sri Krishna Mata

Udupi Shri Krishna Temple is a well-known historic Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Dvaita Matha located in the city of Udupi in Karnataka, India

The Krishna Matha was founded by the Vaishnavite saint Jagadguru Shri Madhvacharya in the 13th century. He was the founder of the Dwaita school of Vedanta. It is believed that Madhwacharya found the vigraha of Shri Krishna in a large ball of gopichandana. As told by Sri Madhvacharya, in his Tantrasara Sangraha, the Vigraha is placed Pashchimabhimukha (facing west). All the other Vigrahas in other Ashta Muthas face west as well. Devotees always have darshan of Lord Krishna through the inner window, known as the Navagruha Kindi & the outer window known as the Kanakana Kindi, which is decorated by an arch named after him. A statue has also been erected. A similar window covers the immediate front of the Vigraha and is called Navagraha Kindi. It is often mistaken to be the Kanakuna Kindi

Navadurga

Hoysala architecture

Goddess Durga manifested herself, namely, Maha Saraswati, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Kali who are the active energies (Shakti) of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva respectively.

These three forms of Durga further manifested in three more forms each, and thus emerged the nine forms of Durga, which are collectively called Navadurga or Nine Durgas.

Here is collection of sculptures of Mahishasura Mardini, Durga, Kali and Lakshmi from Hoysala Temples of Karnataka (12th-13th Century CE)

Shakti Durga as Mahishasuramardini, Gupta period- 401 CE.

Here Devi is shown uplifting the hind part of a buffalo or mahisa by holding its tail with her front left hand, and piercing its neck with a trisula held in her front right hand, while the Devi stands on the mahisasura’s neck with her right leg. This posture of the Devi exactly corresponds to the DeviMahatmya description of her:

Evamuktva samutpatya sarudha tam mahasuram |
Padenakramya kanthe ca sulenainamatadyayat - (III. 37 DM).
